Alain has always felt a visceral need to move to music, discovering partnered dances in 2002. Since then, he has studied quite a few individual or partnered styles: Salsa, Argentine Tango, Popping, Blues, Contact Improvisation (CI), Ballet, Forro, etc. He is always eager to learn new forms of dance, and new techniques.
His main partnered dances these days are Argentine Tango, CI and Blues (which he teaches at the weekly Stompin' the Blues in London, UK). He has taught Blues and Fusion around Europe and even in the USA.
For Alain, dancing in partnership is a collaboration to create something beautiful - or fun - together. He is especially interested in technical fusion and cross-pollination of dance styles and finding creative ways to express any kind of music.
